Apologies for not having posted in so long, I have just returned from a 3-week trip to Sydney to spend Christmas and New Year's with my family, who gathered from around the globe (my parents from Brazil, and my little sister from London, and my other sister who now resides in Sydney).
It was a very eventful 3 weeks, starting with my sister's water breaking on Christmas Eve, my gorgeous little nephew arriving on Boxing Day, and my dearest 90 year-old grandmother passing away in Los Angeles two days after that (which meant that my dad only got to spend 5 days with us before returning to the USA). So many joys mixed with a little sorrow, although we are happy that dear A-ma' is free from suffering, and is now reunited with my grandfather, who passed away 18 years ago.
A lot of eating and walking, a little sightseeing, and even a spot of shopping (including the first two items I am wearing listed above)...but the best of all was the time spent with my family. Oh, and Lil J started crawling in Sydney! Happy times...
