Having been brought up on a healthy diet of 1950's and 1960's movies, I have always loved the glamorous 'New Look' silhouette. There was barely a 'look' I did not like at Bill Gayten's Haute Couture collection for Dior, and the pictures below do not do it justice, as there is further beauty in the incredible details:

But I do love blue...Karl Lagerfeld offered in his Haute Couture collection 150 different shades of blue, in beautifully elegant silhouettes, some of which were reminiscent of 'homie boys', as the designer describes it: the designer said, "like boys whose jeans are slipping off.
