Oversized billowy sleeves...

Lil' Brigs #1's room, love the wall stickers from Tiny Me
Went for a little browse at the Scanlan & Theodore store
They always have the best sofa, and this new one is so gorgeous (pic doesn't do it justice)

When I got back I needed my 2nd double shot of coffee...(I usually only have one, was running out of steam)
The dress isn't that long, I just pulled it over my legs, trying to show how oversized the sleeves are on this Stella McCartney dress...
Don't let its simple appearance fool you: Felicia's 'special' consists of alternating layers of vanilla sponge, fresh whipped cream, dulce de leche caramel, peach slices and a layer of fresh meringue...yuuuummm!
Outfit of the day: Stella McCartney oversized turteneck mohair dress (a few seasons old), Louis Vuitton Elise Epi wallet, Jimmy Fairly glasses, Chloe Susanna black boots (available HERE, HERE, and HERE), Proenza Schouler Classic PS11 in black bag (available at Net-a-Porter HERE, HERE and directly from Proenza Schouler HERE).

What I wore today: Current/Elliott Infantry Jacket, Chloe Susanna boots and Proenza Schouler PS11 and my (or Gwyneth's) Spiced Kettlecorn Recipe

Took the lil' ones to Playgroup today, they had a ball.  This is what I wore out:

Made some popcorn in the afternoon.  I have been making this spiced kettle corn for years...since I first saw it on a Goop newsletter.

Yield: about 8 cups

Ingredients:
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
½ cup corn kernels
3 tablespoons sugar (I use coconut sugar, but you can use white)
1 tablespoon raw sugar (courser sugar), optional
0.5 teaspoon kosher salt (I usually use Maldon, but used Fleur de Sel de Guerande today - and a bit less than listed here)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (I usually use more, and just shake it liberally over the popcorn)
pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, optional

What to do:
1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Once  melted, add the oil, kernels and sugar stirring to ensure everything is well mixed.
3. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and cook on medium-low heat until kernels stop popping.
4. Be sure to shake the pot quite often to make sure the kernels are cooking evenly.
5. Remove from heat and immediately and pour into large bowl.
6. Add salt and spices, tossing to coat.

I am a huge popcorn fan, and have childhood memories of my mom making my sisters and I popcorn, putting them in a sheet of white paper rolled into a cone, and giving it to us on outings...Also, at the movies, it's more common to order caramelised popcorn than 'salt & butter' popcorn.  Brazilians sure have a sweet tooth!  As such, I practically never eat salted popcorn, and would pretty much never buy popcorn at the movies (here Down Under it's usually only 'salted').  So I make a batch, and 'smuggle' mine in, haha!

Reunited (with my Chloe Susanna(s) boots), and it feels so good...

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. If it is at all possible, I am even 'fonder' of my Chloe Susanna boots having left them at the cobbler for a week to have their soles protected (better late than never). After picking them up all polished and gleaming this weekend, I couldn't wait to put them back on.

Chloe Susanna boots in red are available here, and here, and in black herehere, and here.  Net-a-Porter has them in black, red and blush leather (!) here.
I am trying hard to resist the blush/nude pair.  At first I didn't like them (I thought the gold studs are what 'made' the boot), but am thinking how versatile these'd be for summery outfits, and good when worn with bare legs...

Wore my red pair with a Camilla&Marc black wool-jersey 'tuxedo' mini dress I've had for years (maybe 7+)
It is about time I share pics of my other 'nappy' bag, my Balenciaga Courier in Anthracite, a (slightly) smaller version of my Extra Courier bag I use almost every day.  I don't know why, but Balenciaga no longer makes this size (and it was so popular!), but you can find the Extra Courier in dark cobalt here, and in pale grey here (the bag looks so weird on the model! It slouches much more, and looks more like this when worn).  I am so so happy I found these bags, they make a perfect 'nappy' bag, and the extra courier in particular is great as a travel bag.  They're light, roomy, and importantly for me, sling across the body beautifully...
