I was pleasantly surprised by Singapore, as it was my first time there, hubby will argue 'til he's blue in the face that Malaysian food is better, but I greatly enjoyed the food in Singers, as well as the Designer-strewn Orchard Road (it seems there was an LV, Miu Miu, Prada, Chanel, Hermes store every few steps!):
Wish that ceramic piece were for sale!
Eating at Warung M Nasir, hubby was in heaven, our favourite was a vegetable curry made of tapioca leaves, we had never heard of it, but loved it.
Wish I had saved some room for those pineapple tarts...
Kaya toast - look at that huge slab of butter! What you cannot see is the incredible 'kaya' - delicious coconut spread, yuuummmmm...This was from the original Killiney Kopitiam.
Incredible architecture along Orchard Road.
Loved this peach/pear/sculpture outside the Armani store.
Crayfish laksa...*drool* this was sooooo goood!
Apologies for the blurry pic, but I thought I'd show you the Oak silk tunic I am wearing, as I love its shape. I had previously posted about it here, and simply adore the oversized sleeve and draped silhouette it gives.
A store that specialised in 'long yoke' - a sweet & savoury flattened ultra tasty piece of pork (or chicken)
It has been so long since I have posted an outfit pic, Lil J practised a few blogger poses when we got back to the hotel, just to show me how it's really done...
