Dries Van Noten Embellished Orbis Clutch

The detailing on this psychedelic clutch was so incredible, that I could not resist it. The pleated orbis-printed silk, the multilayered sequins, and the orbis* print on the clutch itself makes me want to hang this on the wall, and I might as well, it has yet to set foot outside my wardrobe...

* The Orbis printing process was developed in the 1920's, using wax cylinders to create unique and individual marble-like patterns on fabric.

A Dance for One - Lover

What? Another video? I am sorry, but this video was too beautiful not to share. I have been a 'Lover' (label) lover since it first started; although I have found some of their recent collections were too 'young' for me; this recent collection is simply gorgeous. Inspired by the ethereal and fragile grace of a ballerina, they created a moving film featuring the Senior Artist of the Australian Ballet, Amber Scott, to create this beautiful film for their AW'11 collection:

This 'post' & video have been sitting in my draft box for quite some time, but I thought it's too pretty not to share (although many of you may have already seen it):

Street Style at the Fall/Winter 2011 Fashion Weeks - Gorgeous details

I swoon over this Dries Van Noten embroidered parka, seriously...

The Dries clutch is gorgeous too!

I once wrote that I loved these Balenciaga series of shoes, which reminded me of a Brazilian jewellery line (Sobral's 'Pop Art' collection)

That gilet is calling to me, asking me to reach out and touch the computer screen...
Wonder if I could use a white-out (tippex) pen to scribble on my Chanel reissue...

The textured sweater, the organza skirt...LOVE it!

This piece could be hung on a wall as art, incredible...
Let's all sigh together, 1, 2, 3....*sigh*

Stunning colours...incredible pants by Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton
This hat is absolutely unreal...
